In making the decision to run for Congress, Tim looked to his own daughter and his concern for her future if our government continues its current deficit spending spree while failing to make hard choices to rein in entitlement programs, and others, that will bankrupt the country.

"We deserve a government that secures the future not just for the next political cycle, but for generations to come. Our children and the generations that follow them will not judge us by what we say, but by what we do. They won't care if our politics are to the right or left but they will know if we moved our country forward or backward."
