NRN Blog Alert: Turn Obama in For Suspicious Activity

*** NRN Blog Alert ***

Fellow Bloggers,

Obama is asking for us to report suspicious reports on Health Care. Essentially, he wants to find who is behind reporting the truth on his proposed socialized medicine. From the White House:

There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can't keep track of all of them here at the White House, we're asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

He is asking everyone to email this address with tips: flag@whitehouse.gov This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Here is what we need to do. Email that address reporting Barack Obama for not telling the truth on Health Care. Let's try and flood that inbox with as many reports about Obama and his minions attempting to deceive the public as possible.

God forbid that those working for health care reform would want to make sure people hear facts instead of myths. No one is asking people to "turn in their neighbors." It's an effort to make sure that the myths are answered with facts.

The insurance industry has plenty of money, and much motive, to preserve the current system -- which makes ours one of a system of health care availability for those who can afford it to the exclusion of millions who cannot. The rich stay healthy longer; the poor get sick and die sooner. Is that the America we want? It makes no sense for a strong nation.

Yes Jim, we can't have free speech go unanswered by the government!

As for the insurance industry having plenty of money and motive, I'm sure then you also feel that way about the unions, government employees and government itself which likewise wants to continue to grow and get its hands on as much money as possible and has the money and motive to fight for it's continued growth regardless of whether or not it's for the good of anyone other then itself.

Unlike governments and unions, business like insurance industry needs to compete to get your dollar. If we had a truly free market you could refuse to do business with insurance companies that did not cover you and your family as well as you'd like. You can take your money elsewhere. That's why we see such competition in the auto insurance and home owners insurance fields. They want you to hire them so they strive to be better or cheaper then the next guy. Health insurance market is strangled partly by government and does not allow that kind of competition.
