Presidential Candidates to Address NH House of Representatives

CONCORD – House Speaker William O’Brien’s office today announced that invitations have been extended to presidential candidates to address the New Hampshire House of Representatives during the Wednesday, October 12 session, which begins at 10:00am.

Currently confirmed candidates include Gov. Gary Johnson, Sen. Rick Santorum, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, businessman Herman Cain, and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. The Speaker’s office is still awaiting confirmation from President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney. The campaigns of Gov. Rick Perry, Gov. Jon Huntsman and Congressman Ron Paul have declined.
