A Lesson in Irony!

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us to "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." 

Their stated reason for the policy is because the animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.

It takes a cold-hearted orb not to feed the bears when they are hungry; think of the poor cubbies, they haven't won one since '08.

By comparing human beings on food stamps to wild animals, you clearly show your disdain for your fellow man. Must be more of that compassionate conservatism we heard about. How does that go again? Oh right, I have mine; screw the rest of you. Isn't that a fine christian value?
