Jeb Bradley and John Stephen: Questions Loom Over Both

It’s still too early to even guess who will win the Republican Primary for Congress in District One.

So until the primary is over I’m not going to invest too much time writing about either Jeb Bradley or John Stephen.

Nevertheless, looming questions await both of them.

Jeb Bradley himself has brought to light questions about whether monies that John Stephen claims he saved taxpayers (while heading up HHS) were really a flim-flam that is going to cost the state of NH in the long run.

That’s the problem with hotly contested primaries. I was surprised that Jeb was the first of the two candidates to attack so openly.

But Mr. Bradley has loads of skeletons in his closet too. One that you never hear about is his record against making Tricare ( the militaries health insurance program) available to our National Guard.

Jeb makes a lot of hay our of supporting the troops, but in this war that is being largely fought by the Guard it seems that not everyone in combat is considered a troop.

I don’t think that Mr. Stephen will get into that, but if anyone hears otherwise, let me know.

Questions don't so much loom over Carol Shea-Porter as chase her down and send her running for cover and hiding behind her flunkies.

I hear she's lately banned all camcorders from her events except those of her staff. She never could face the people and now she's not even pretending anymore.

So what's the mood in the bunker these days Chaz?

Shaheen has banned cameras too -- after all, both she and Porter have made excuses for supporting the removal of private ballots when voting on unions in the workplace.
