You can be nice and usually that will see you through to a point, but when its time to play hard ball you have to be willing to do it and to know how to do it effectively.

The word liberal became a hate smear, it was

So long as there has been power, it has been abused. When power is abused, it affects culture, it pervades the culture.
The pervasion of of culture by corrupt power an age old story. I don't know of a people on the planet who have managed to avoid succumbing to the effects of it...
