Congress Is Speaking For The American People?

For all the bluster about “change”, a new direction for America, taking their country back, and so on by the liberal Democrats, here is their “hit the ground running plan”. A non-binding, irrelevant resolution.

“Congress and the American people will continue to support and protect the members of the United States Armed Forces who are serving or who have served bravely and honorably in Iraq; and Congress disapproves of the decision of President George W. Bush announced on January10, 2007, to deploy more than 20,000 additional United States combat troops to Iraq.”

We had to suffer moonbat candidates and Cindy Sheehan types blathering on about the war on terrorism not being fought properly and this is what they come up with when they get their hands on the wheel.

Actually, liberals hit the ground CAMPIAGNING for 2008. The theme is laid out in standard bumper sticker fashion:

We are the real patriots who support the troops (who may or may not have wasted their lives, depending on which Democrat candidate is talking without cue cards).

Bush lied in the run-up to war.

Congress needs over-site of whatever Bush does so they can stop it.

We knew all along Bush would lose the war on terrorism and now we have the right to say “I tell you so”!

Idealistic, partisan, spoiled brats in power in dangerous times.

Expect nothing but the same type of “change” until 2008.
