Its Mostly Commercials Anyway

HB 113 Will Set Them Free

There is a bill in the NH House which will free up New Hampshire Public Television from the burden of taxpayer funding as well as all the regulation and paperwork that goes with it. You can’t get much luckier than that.

For instance, now they can change their name from New Hampshire Public Television to New Hampshire Progressive Television, tell the truth, and still keep the acronym for all their logos and whatnot.

Thank you Representative Steve Vaillancourt for sponsoring this bill and letting the 50 year old, established TV channel spread its wings and fly from the nest.

We all wish NHPTV well in every one of its future endeavors.

On to public radio.
