Gilford School Board Gets One Over On Voters
For now they may have.
Some school boards are too smart for voters. Gilford shows how to keep control no matter what voter say.
There was a petitioned warrant article this year to follow a 1998 vote to have a school district run without a superintendent – as the organizational plan called for.
It passed with a safe two-to-one margin
But just before the 2011 Annual Meeting the school board hired a new superintendent.
I guess they think it is over.
