The New Hampshire Legislature is looking at a three fifths supermajority to pass taxes and that is some good news.

The complaint from tax and spenders is that ten NH State Senators could hold up a spending bill - fine with me.

And I’ll bet it is fine with a supermajority of NH taxpayers that it will be more difficult to pass taxes after the fiasco of having liberal Democrats try and spend New Hampshire citizens into broad based taxes.

Ten elected State Senators holding up spending bills is a whole lot better than three of five un-elected State Supreme Court justices mandating spending through phony legal action such as equity and adequacy education suits.
