Here is a quote from Democrat Governor John Lynch:
“There is no voter fraud problem in New Hampshire. We already have strong elections laws that are effective in regulating our election.”
I must say that as a member of the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers, for twelve years the sole organization in this state willing to track and document voter fraud and election law violations, Lynch may be right!
Let’s break it down: “There is no voter fraud problem in New Hampshire.” That statement is correct if you feel that your party gets the benefit of non-resident voters tipping the scales against NH residents especially in college towns.
Part two: “We already have strong elections laws that are effective in regulating our election.”
Yes, New Hampshire has strong election laws - that are effective in keeping secret any information which would expose voter fraud and laws that ensure non-resident voters have a free pass to game the system. NH also has strong laws which can be used against anyone who would dare expose voter fraud or a weak election procedure.
So I have to admit Voter ID vetoing Lynch is exactly correct about our election laws and he did the predictable thing, as did Democrat Jeanne Shaheen in vetoing Voter ID three times when she was governor.
Now, of course, it is up to the Attorney General to try to put a stop to anyone exposing voter fraud before it happens again at the next election in November.
That is what this is all about, right?
