What a difference a week makes.

Russia’s Putin has summoned Obama to come bow before him. Oh what a Nobel Peace Prize means to our friend Vladimir. He wants to put Obama on a path to peace.

Peace is always measured – to a liberal, in how much America will surrender her military advantage in a dangerous world.

So off to Russia Obama is obliged to depart, a fresh lame duck administration in one hand, the other stretched out to take whatever deal Putin offers.

Hang on folks, we haven’t won that Cold War yet. Obama is Commander in Chief.
