Watching The Grandstanders From The Stands

Yesterday I took a friend to the Statehouse in Concord to watch the proceedings from the gallery. My friend said he has never been so I had some stuff at the CNHT office to do and he went along.

I thought I might have to get the House Calendar so we would know what each bill was about but it soon became apparent that not many people in the Legislature knew much more than we did so we just watched, and tried to stay awake.

The good seats were roped off for students, none of whom showed up while we were there, so we sat in the front row where the rail blocks your view. The flip side is that the Legislators can’t see you.

Then a light lunch in the House cafeteria!

That is about all I can stand any more.

Life is getting pretty bad up here in northern, NH.

It's time for a speech of reassurance from Gov. Hassan and her appendage Sen. Jeff Woodburn.

Good words. For sure.

I think it is about time for a smiling picture of Maggie with a sap bucket.

Don't you think?

The clock is running.
