The left has no one who can come close to the draw she has.

Will she run in 2012? Maybe. But she has time to get Wonkish while she's not busy being governor.

dave comments on Palin 2012

During the last campaign I had dinner with friends from Massachusettes and we discussed Romney's departure after one term. The consensus was that he left before he finished the job and that he had used the governorship to further his own political goals, not the needs of the state. Funny that nobody talks about this but many of the pundits are quick to criticize Palin who has made a real difference in her state.

I think Palin will do just fine. I first learned of her from my son who lived in Alaska long before she hit the national stage. This is one smart, tough woman who, unlike many of her critics, has a solid underpinning in her beliefs and is not afraid to take her own advice. The critics just don't understand... and this is a real plus in my mind.

Richard Barnes comments on Palin 2012

I heard a comment on the radio this AM where they were questioning why the left attack her so much. One theory they suspect is that she is the perfect person to show the hypocrisy of the left.

The left's whole appeal is that they claim to be the party for the working guy or the lower class. They are the ones for the people on the bottom while republicans are for the "rich". Well Sarah is everything they claim to be for... she went to a regular college. She worked her way up. She is the working class candidate that the left try to claim they are.

One other thing pointed out Ed is that part of the reason she stepped down is because the Democrats have made it impossible for her to do the job and they were actually harming the state of Alaska. Since running with McCain the Democrats have flooded Alaska with ethics complaints about Sarah costing her thousands in legal bills and tying her up making her unable to do the job she was trying to do. Meanwhile every single one of the complaints were found unfounded and were all dismissed. But never the less every time she spoke the Democrats would flood Alaska's system with more and more complaints. They don't care if it destroys the state, democrats are more interested in attempting to harm Sarah because they fear her. She shows them as the hypocrites they are.

GreyGhost comments on New From The Democrat Mint!

Perhaps Total Talent would like to put his deductive reasoning to work to explain why New Hampshire is runnng a budget deficit after only a few years of a Democrat controlled legislature, (WITH A DEMOCRAT AS GOVERNOR), when prior to that, for many decades, we enjoyed a balanced budget under a Republican legislature.

Ed Naile comments on A Wise Latina Liar

Ray:

I am planning a huge expose' on Sanford after you answer the question.
