First off, Richard Barnes has written multiple articles favoring marijuana legalization.  Even though he doesn't smoke pot and he has young children, Richard argues against marijuana prohibition more boldly than just about anybody I know... not bad for a Republican.<br/><br/>Also, Libertarians have been an active part of the coalition behind HB 648 from the beginning.  The NHLA supported the bill and rated it &quot;high impact, pro-liberty&quot; legislation.  Rich Tomasso provided very thoughtful testimony on behalf of the Libertarian Party at both committee hearings.  Libertarians have always been consistent critics of Drug Prohibition, even while Democrats like Bill Clinton and Al Gore were continuing to escalate the Drug War.<br/><br/>Anyway, the negative stuff isn't helpful.<br/><br/>Matt]]></description></item></channel></rss>
