I guess we'll be okay so long as we all have guns and everybody knows it. Unless there's some wacko so far gone he can't be deterred by the threat of lethal force.

I was never anonymous but I thought about it. I can understand why people would want to be anonymous. I guess they should settle for being armed.

I haven't had death threats myself just some angry and incoherent phone calls.

If they cannot seperate being a political adversary from being a personal one, they should best stay away. It's not personal, its politics.

It would be nice to think that we all have enough in common that we could still sit down and have a beer (or whatever) and talk about all the other things that happen in the world besides politics.

Of course there are always exceptions. So yes, I exercise my 2nd amendment right to self protection. Just in case.

What would we do with Ray?

I've been thinking.

No. I am opposed.

Liberals would never say as much dumb stuff unless it was anon. (except Mike Moonbat) I need the free material.

Keep the anonomice as they are.

Hey Ed; maybe you should try to work on your non-partisanship.

We're coming out of a Republican era that has almost destroyed the country; maybe you're not quite as smart as you think.

Just work the common sense issues that everyone can agree on and lose the smart-ass anti Dem comments. You'll get more done that way, especially since we Dems are taking over...

Gee Ed, Jay wants you to only write “common sense issues that everyone can agree on.” Boring.
As far as the republican era almost destroying the country, there is plenty of blame to go around. Our democratic led Congress has made a mess of everything. Can we all say recession and foreclosures led by Freddie Mac and Fanny May. Our democratic Legislature has made a mess here too. Money committee chairmen that couldn’t run a lemonade stand if you gave them the lemons and the stand, gave us rosy revenue projections so that they could spend, spend spend. Add to that a deficit budget even though they were warned that the economy was tanking. What does Speaker Norelli do? She puts the same people back as chairmen. Stay tuned for the Destruction of New Hampshire as we know it Part II.
As far as the topic of full name disclosure, It should be by choice, but the real credibility lies with those unafraid to put their money where their mouth is, or in this case your name behind what you say.

Jay,take a look around the country. The biggest cities in America are in shambles, social wise and fiscal wise.Who runs all these big cities?Thats right,Democrats.
Look at all the states that are in dire need of bailouts.Nearly all of them are run by?,you guessed it,Dems. This is even more outrageous when you look back and see that Democrats have been badmouthing the economy for years now and yet Governments across the country have only grown. Why is that?

Jay:

You sound so much like Ray today.

Remember Rabo, I'm a registered Democrat.

Ed,

We know you need the free material. Let's face it...when you cut through all your BS, you really don't add too much the dialogue here and most of what you say is only a rehash from Rush or Howie.

I agree that it should be by choice and if you truly can be honest with yourself, then you can post under your 'real' name. There will always be those to disagree, call you names and put you down, a 'real' person can forgo that and work towards helping the majority with the issues and concerns that need the most attention.

Jay,

Frankly, the first episode of "When Harry met Nancy" left me a bit short on feelings of bi-partisanship, so it may be a while before I am willing to embrace the "I'd like to buy the world a coke" pandering that has emerged miraculously from the nest of harpies-- previously known as the 110th Congress--the momment their guy gets elected to the OVal office.

Lets just call it Change I can't beleive in.

Ray-spot:

And how does it help to post a FatFaceBook Page under someone else's old email address?

You know what I'm talking about, right?

So now I am starting my own web site dedicated to some issues you may be interested in.

What is amazing is that your right that the biggest cities in America are in shambles, and who runs the biggest cities in America? The democrats, always.
