Poll wrap-up: GOP viewed as more corrupt by large margins

FYI - I thought this poll wrap-up below might be helpful (either for your files or for any current stories you are working on about how the ongoing Republican scandals might affect the 2006 elections in NH).

Essentially, a number of national polls out in the past week have showed that Americans believe Democrats are more "ethical" and "honest" and Republicans are more "corrupt."

PUBLIC STRONGLY BELIEVES THAT DEMOCRATS ARE MORE ETHICAL & HONEST. By a 12-point margin, Americans questioned last week feel that Democrats will do a better job of dealing with corruption in government.
