Libertarians Endorse Amenedments

Concord -- At their annual state convention this Saturday the Libertarian Party of NH officially endorsed Questions 1 and 2 on the general election ballot this November.

Question 1 would tighten the restrictions on eminient domain and prevent any back-sliding in current law which may erode protections of private property from government takings. Question 2 would bring New Hampshire closer to the ideal of each town having its own representative and would generally improve the representation afforded to small towns in the state legislature.

The Libertarian Party believes protection of private property is the foundation of a free market and that local representation encourages good government. The party encourages all the voters of the Granite State to vote "yes" on both constitutional amendments on November 7th.
