PORTSMOUTH) -- At a standing room only fundraiser with former presidential candidate Senator John Edwards, Democracy for New Hampshire announced its first ten of fifty endorsements for the November 2006 elections. Among those receiving the backing of DFNH was Bob Bruce, Democratic candidate for Exeuctive Council, District 4.
"This endorsement gives a big lift to my campaign," said Bruce. "I certainly welcome the backing of Democracy for New Hampshire. I think John Edwards did a great job of further motivating members and potential members of DFNH to get out and work and vote for candidates like myself who truly have the best interests of this state and its people at heart."
"Our organization supports socially progressive, fiscally responsible candidates who speak honestly about policy choices," said Political Director Karen Liot Hill, "and we are proud to support this slate of candidates to represent the people of New Hampshire in Concord."
