Governor Lynch Proclaims New Hampshire Small Business Week

From The Office of Governor John Lynch

CONCORD - Gov. John Lynch has proclaimed April 9 to April 15, 2006 as New Hampshire Small Business Week to recognize the contributions of small businesses to New Hampshire's economy.

" This week is an opportunity to recognize the enormous contributions small businesses make to our economy in creating jobs for New Hampshire citizens, " Gov. Lynch said.

Small businesses represent 99 percent of employers in New Hampshire, employing more than half of all private sector employees and creating three out of every four new jobs.

Each year, the U.S. Small Business Administration honors someone from the small business community by selecting New Hampshire's Small Business Person of the Year. The 2006 recipient of this award is Mark S. Lore of Londonderry, president of Ride-Away Handicap Equipment Corporation.
