From the Office of Congressman Jeb Bradley
(Manchester, N.H.) - First District Congressman Jeb Bradley will be meeting with local and state emergency personnel today in several communities across southern New Hampshire about the heavy rains and flooding affecting the state.
"New Hampshire citizens have shown their resilience before and they have done so once again. I applaud the quick actions and efforts of local emergency personnel, members of the N.H. National Guard, and state and local leaders during this time of emergency," stated Bradley. "I will work with the rest of the New Hampshire Congressional Delegation to ensure that federal government assistance is available to help get those hardest hit back on their feet."
This afternoon, Bradley will be meeting with officials from the State of New Hampshire Emergency Operations Center in Concord. Following that meeting, Bradley will visit with local officials and emergency personnel in Hooksett, Manchester, Derry and Londonderry. In Manchester, Bradley will also be touring some of the city's affected areas with Mayor Frank Guinta.
