(Manchester, N.H.) - First District Congressman Jeb Bradley will be meeting with local emergency personnel this afternoon in two New Hampshire communities about the heavy rains and flooding affecting the state.
"Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak with local officials in Manchester, Derry and Londonderry, as well as state officials in Concord. I also had a chance to view the extent of the significant flooding at one of the historic mill buildings in Manchester. During each of my meetings, I was struck by the commitment each official had to ensuring the safety of New Hampshire residents, and I thank them for their tireless service over these last few days," stated Bradley. "Once we are able to assess the damage, we can push for federal relief in order to begin cleanup and there building process."
This afternoon, Bradley will be meeting with local officials and emergency personnel in Dover and Hooksett. Earlier today, Bradley met with town officials in Goffstown.
