Dodds Will Attend Democratic Convention

Dodds For Congress

For Immediate Release:

Gary Dodds, Democratic candidate for New Hampshire's first congressional
district, announced plans to attend the New Hampshire Democratic convention
at St. Anselm’s College on June 3rd. It will be the candidate’s first public
appearance following a car accident last April.

Doctors at Portsmouth Regional Hospital have cleared the candidate to begin
putting weight on his feet. He will begin physical therapy sessions twice
weekly. Of his feet, Dodds joked “I won’t beat Jeb Bradley in many foot
races, but I’m glad to be making arrangements for the convention.”

Despite the layoff from campaigning, poll results released last week showed
Dodds and Manchester Attorney Jim Craig in a statistical dead heat when
matched head-to-head against Jeb Bradley.

“The competition means that voters won’t have to choose between two
politicians henpecked by special interests.” Dodds said. “I’m independent
and I’m on the record with affordable solutions.”

Gary reminded voters that his website provides written responses to their
questions and concerns, adding that the site has been updated with important
information for families impacted by the floods. “Some have lost everything
to the flood waters. It’s important to help out in any way I can.”
