CONCORD , N.H. – New Hampshire Republican Party Chair Wayne Semprini today released the following statement in response to Evan Bayh’s events in the GraniteState.
“Given the fact that Evan Bayh tries to market himself as a moderate Democrat I wonder if he agrees with the irresponsible and radical left turn New Hampshire Democrats made this week in calling for President Bush’s impeachment. While New Hampshire Democrats are busy calling for impeachment and courting irrelevant Presidential wannabes we will remain focused on tax relief, creating jobs, and improving education for New Hampshire.”
Ratings Prove Bayh Is Do-Nothing, Ineffectual Senator:
“Knowlegis, A Software Research Firm … Issued Its 2005 ‘Power Rankings’ List, Using 15 Characteristics Of Power That Are Based On 283 Variables.”(Kelly McCormack, “Some Members Upset Over Rankings,” The Hill , 5/17/06).
“Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.), A Possible Presidential Candidate, Ranked 89th In The Senate, Well Below Sen. Daniel Akaka(D-Hawaii), Who Ranked 71. Akaka, However, Has Been Known As One Of The Senate’s Quietest Members.” (Kelly McCormack, “Some Members Upset Over Rankings,” The Hill ,5/17/06)
· Knowlegis CEO Brad Fitch: “SenatorBayh doesn’t have strong committee assignments and didn’t have a super strong legislative record in 2005 …” (Kelly McCormack,“Some Members Upset Over Rankings,” The Hill , 5/17/06)
Bayh Wasn’t Even Mentioned In The Latest Gallup Poll (released 6/8/06)
