Starts Tour of Eight Counties in Forty Eight Hours

C oncord , NH – Jim Coburn made his challenge to governor John Lynch official today by formally filing for the governor’s race. “We have a lot of work to do in the state” said Coburn as he finished signing the required paperwork. Coburn cited education and healthcare as two areas where work is needed. “If it takes a constitutional amendment, we’ll get that through the legislature and get it on the ballot , ” said Coburn addressing the education funding issue.

Coburn also announced the start of his statewide “Vision and Leadership Tour” which will take him through eight New Hampshire counties in forty eight hours. “I look forward to speaking with people all over the state, to get a feel for the issues which affect their lives” Coburn said of his upcoming tour. Coburn will be making stops in Manchester, Nashua, Bedford, North Conway, Lancaster, Randolph,Whitefield, Hanover, Claremont, Keene, and Amherst. Coburn also stated, “This tour is just one step in my effort to bring real leadership back to the statehouse in Concord.”
