Rye, NH – The Hundred Club of New Hampshire will be hosting their Charity Golf Classic 2006 on July 18th .  The Hundred Club is a 501 (c)(3) charity created to assist the families of police officers and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty.  Since its formation in 1966 The Hundred Club has given more than $2 Million to assist these families when they need it the most.  The organization provides immediate financial support to the families, support for children when they go to college, and most importantly, by keeping in touch, they let the families know that they are not forgotten.  One local police chief described The Hundred Club this way, "They provide for the family, financially, emotionally, spiritually ... without any expectation of pay back."

The wide network of Hundred Club members ensure that each affected family will be well taken care of.  The success of the Charity Golf Classic will ensure that The Hundred Club can continue to "Care for those who care for us."  If media would like to attend the event or speak to any members of The Hundred Club before the event, they may contact Alicia Preston at apreston@yourmeridian.com or by phone at 603-540-3669
