Mayor begins citywide Senior Q&A Summer Series

Manchester- Mayor Frank C. Guinta began his citywide Senior Q&A Summer Series by meeting with residents of the Downtown’s Carpenter Center.

"I have made it a point of my administration to go out and listen to the concerns of the people that I am working for," Guinta said. "The feedback I have received from my Ward-by-Ward meetings has been great. I feel that extending my visits to the many senior residences across the city is extremely important, because it gives me a chance to meet with people who may not have been able to come out to the Ward meetings. The concerns of our City’s seniors is of equal importance to me and I am so glad we are able to do this."

Today’s one-hour session gave residents the opportunity to ask the Mayor about city issues that concern them. Taxes, crime, Club Omega, and the need for a downtown grocery store were among the topics addressed.

Guinta intends to continue the Senior Q&A Summer Series over the next few months. Additionally, the Mayor’s Ward-by-Wards continue throughout the summer with seven wards already visited, and a Ward 10 meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 13th at Saint Anselm’s Institute of Politics.
