DOVER –Gov. John Lynch and Democratic candidates for Congress, Executive Council, the state legislature and county offices will be the special guests at the Strafford County Democratic Committee’s annual Summer Picnic at the home of Salme and Ken Perry, 380 Rollins Rd., Rollinsford Sun., Aug. 20 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Gov. Lynch has gained broad bipartisan support by working to make New Hampshire a place of opportunity for all its citizens. He looks forward in his second term to continuing to invest in education and job training, continuing to improve access to affordable health care, helping make higher education more affordable for every New Hampshire family, and by continuing to work to bring good new jobs to the state.
Candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives, the Executive Council, the state Senate and House of Representatives and county offices will join Gov. Lynch at the picnic to discuss issues with local Democrats.
The Strafford County Democratic picnic is traditionally a highlight of the summer political season on the Seacoast. The picnic will feature a variety of traditional All American fare and songs and music by the Great Bay Company as well as fun, games and swimming. A certified lifeguard will be on duty.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $3 for children and $25 for family groups of four or more. A limited number of benefactor tickets are available for $25.
