HOLLIS, NH- The Nancy Wall for State Senate campaign will officially kick off with a rally on Friday, August 11th at 7:00 P.M. in Wall’s hometown of Hollis. The event will be held in the big tent at Brookdale Farm on Route 130 in Hollis and is open to all. Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and his band “Capitol Offense” will be on stage to provide live music for the event.

U.S. Senator John E. Sununu (R-NH) will be there to support Nancy’s candidacy. The event is free although donations and offers for volunteer help will be happily accepted.

We are hosting a friend-to-friend event where folks from all over the district can stop by to talk with me about the issues. This neighbor-to-neighbor tradition is in keeping with the New Hampshire way that has worked for decades, and I intend to stick with it,” said Wall. “There are many issues that are on the minds of voters right now and I want to hear, first hand, what those concerns are. I believe taxes are a major concern and that we must insist that our legislators pass budgets that limit taxes and reduce spending so taxpayers can keep more of their hard earned money,” said Wall.

Wall, who served in the New Hampshire State Legislature, is steadfast in her policy of fiscal restraint and as a reflection of that has accepted the campaign finance limitations for the Senate race. “I accepted the limits because it represents my position in terms of how I react to spending other people’s money. I do not take lightly the responsibility and the trust that we place in our elected officials to make financial decisions that affect everyone’s pocketbook. I believe that if we insist on a small, citizen lead state government that works to keep our taxes low and government interference in our lives to a minimum we will all be better off,” stated Wall.

Wall is currently retired and sees that as an advantage. “I will be a full-time Senator for all of the voters of Mason, Brookline, Hollis, and the Nashua Wards 1, 2, 5 & 9. I will work full-time at it and you can believe me when I say, I have no other political aspirations beyond the state senate,” Wall stated.
