John Cox, the first announced Republican candidate for president in 2008, will visit New Hampshire from Tuesday, Jan. 23 and Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007. It will be his tenth visit to the state as a candidate for president.
Below is his schedule:
Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007
At 9 a.m., John Cox will meet with Manchester Mayor Frank Guinta for coffee in the Mayor’s office, One City Hall Plaza, Manchester.
At 11:30 a.m., John will speak with students of Thomas More College, 6 Manchester Street, Merrimack, at 12:30 p.m. followed by lunch with faculty members and administrators.
At 5 p.m., John will host a spaghetti dinner at Travers, the Village Eatery, 13 Main St. Goffstown. Price is $10. John will speak on the need to control Federal spending, and his pledge that, as president, he will never sign a Federal budget that isn’t balanced. John will also meet with the editorial board of the Union Leader Tuesday.
Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007
At 10 a.m., John will meet with the editor of the Argus Champion Newspaper for an interview and greet patrons at Jack’s Diner at 207 Main St. New London.
At 11:30 a.m., John Cox will speak to students of Colby-Sawyer College, 541 Main St, New London about his vision for America’s future. The discussion will be held at Wheeler Hall. Following his speech, he will meet faculty and administrators for lunch.
At 4 p.m., John Cox will eat at the Red Arrow Diner at 61 Lowell St. Manchester and will meet and greet patrons.
