NH AG Kelly Ayotte will speak at Josiah Bartlett Center forum on Jan 19
The Josiah Bartlett Center for Public Policy's education funding forum rescheduled for January 19 will add Attorney General Kelly Ayotte to the list of constitutional experts speaking on education funding. In addition to the Attorney General, the forum will include Claremont Coalition attorney Scott Johnson, former Supreme Court Justice Charles Douglas, former Speaker Donna Sytek, and three expert attorneys, Martin Gross, Edward Mosca and Eugene Van Loan.
"We're very pleased to add the Attorney General to the broadest and most knowledgeable group assembled to discuss this critical issue since the original Claremont decision was handed down," Center president Charlie Arlinghaus announced. "This diverse group of experts will help policymakers at all levels understand what the court has said and the options it creates from narrow or broad amendment to not amending at all. We're very proud of the strength of the program."
The Bartlett Center's program, "Education Funding and the Constitution," was rescheduled to January 19th at 8:30 a.m at the Capital Center for the Arts in Concord to avoid conflicts with the legislative schedule and to accommodate growing interest. Detailed information is available on the Center's website www.jbartlett.org.
