Sen McCain Announces NH Students For McCain Leadership

MANCHESTER, NH -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced the leaders of the New Hampshire Students for McCain Coalition. New Hampshire Students for McCain will mobilize young voters on campuses throughout the state to continue to grow John McCain's strong grassroots organization in the Granite State.

"John McCain is the only candidate able to restore our trust in government and inspire young Americans to serve causes greater than their own self interest. New Hampshire Students for McCain are committed to bringing about a first-in-the-nation primary victory for John McCain," said State Co-Chair of the NH Students for McCain Coalition Jamie Howes of UNH. "John McCain has the experience necessary to ensure that my generation and future generations of Americans live in a safer and more hopeful America."

Tom Huzarsky, chair of Dartmouth College Students for McCain explained, "Young Americans are concerned about issues like national security, restoring trust in government, health care and the environment - issues that John McCain is best suited to take on from day one. John McCain is the leader our nation needs. I am inspired by his candidacy and look forward to helping John McCain bring home a victory in New Hampshire."

John McCain thanked the student leaders, stating, "Participation is vital to the health of our democracy. The passion and commitment these young Americans add to the political process is critical to our nation's future, and I am proud to have their support."
