What a day. I am on my way to Florida after having received the personal endorsement of Dr. Jerry Falwell Jr. this morning at Liberty University. And by email just now, I was notified that in the new daily tracking poll from Rasmussen Reports we have moved into first place in Iowa with 28%. Gov. Romney is in second place with 25% and Mayor Giuliani is in third place with 12%. Just as this news came out, in an effort to blunt our momentum conservative activist Paul Weyrich said that we had "peaked too soon." He is a Romney supporter I might add! Lets show Paul and the media that we haven't peaked too soon because we haven't stopped rising.
We need to seize this opportunity.
The sky is the limit today and with the debate tonight and new supporters flocking to our campaign website we have a chance to shake the political foundations of this race from Iowa all the way to the White House.
Are you with me? If you are, contribute now and find three other people to match your contribution.
The FairTax, the Human Life Amendment, secure borders, transforming education and encouraging the arts in schools, real enforcement of existing immigration laws on employers are things we have been fighting for since we began this campaign.
We can't stop now! We are moving forward while the others fall behind. We aren't attacking our rivals, we are leading them with fresh ideas and a vision for America that unites Americans and doesn't divide us.
As a first-time contirbutor, your financial support today will encourage others to get off the sidelines and support this campaign with their first contribution.
With deep gratitude,
