Our campaign is $47,225 away from raising $200,000 through the first six days of November. Last month, it took us almost two weeks to reach a similar total.
Can I count on you to make a contribution of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100, $250, $500 or even $1,000 towards our goal today?
Whatever the amount you contribute, you will help move us towards the $200,000 mark which is ahead of where we were last month.
Today's Rasmussen Reports tracking poll has us at 14% nationally, in third place ahead of Senator McCain and Governor Romney and just 2% points behind Senator Thompson. If we are able to maintain our fundraising success as our poll numbers climb we will have all of the momentum going into Iowa and New Hampshire.
I know you are already a committed supporter of my campaign, but if we are going to be able to take advantage of our momentum we will need to continue to push hard with our online fundraising.
That is why your financial support today is so very important.
We are tracking contributions on our main page so you will be able to quickly monitor our success by visiting the homepage. We are also using a new tracker called "Discover Huckabee." Discover Huckabee breaks the November fundraising goal into smaller portions. As we raise money online, a new section of the Discover Huckabee timeline is revealed. The timeline is interactive. We have embedded video, picture galleries of my childhood, my family and my life in public office, new downloads that you have never seen before, new store items and much more in the timeline.
So please make your contribution today.
If 1,000 people stop reading this email and take a moment right now to make a $47.22 online contribution we will reach $200,000 raised in record time. How significant is $200,000 raised for our campaign online? Well prior to the Ames Straw Poll we never raised that much online in any given month. Our best mark prior to Ames was in the month of June when we raised $148,093 online (we have already raised that much in just over 5 days!)
Clearly we are doing well but we have shown that we can do better.
In a marathon, the only person you race against is yourself. You set your own expectations and run your own race. In this marathon to become the President of the United States I have decided to run this race with my team. Since we started back in February our team hasn't focused on raising the most money, we have focused on raising enough money to succeed.
You are an important part of my team. So please make your contribution today. When you do, you will be helping our team finish the race and I am confident we will exceed our expectations.
With deep gratitude,
