Among other measures, Obama’s plan calls for doubling our investment in after-school programs, expanding the Child and Dependent Tax Credit and the Family and Medical Leave Act, and expanding flexible work arrangements.
Two of the ten roundtables—in Rochester on Thursday and in Laconia on Friday—will be hosted by Cassandra Butts, law school classmate of Obama and Senior Vice President for Domestic Policy at the Center for American Progress. The roundtables are open to the press.
