As momentum builds behind Dennis Kucinich's bid to win New Hampshire's Democratic Primary, the wife of the Ohio Congressman will be back in the Granite State this weekend to campaign for her husband.
Elizabeth Kucinich will begin a campaign swing in New Hampshire Monday, December 17th. Mrs. Kucinich will be meeting voters at appearances and events in Bethlehem, North Conway, Ossipee, and North Sutton.
An accomplished advocate for peace and human rights, Elizabeth Kucinich has emerged as her husband's most eloquent and effective supporter in the 2008 campaign. A native of the United Kingdom, Mrs. Kucinich is a graduate of the University of Kent with a BA in Religious Studies and an MA in International Conflict Analysis.
From her work as a development volunteer with Mother Teresa's organization in India at age 18 to her present day involvement with the Congressional Human Rights and Holistic Health Caucuses, Mrs. Kucinich has dedicated her life to service and social justice. Along the way, she served in Volunteer Service Overseas (the "British Peace Corps") in Tanzania and worked for monetary policy reform with the Forum for Stable Currencies at the House of Lords in London and with the American Monetary Institute in Chicago.
With the Kucinich campaign's New Hampshire field operation growing by leaps and bounds and recent polling showing the candidate gaining ground, Mrs. Kucinich will maintain an aggressive schedule campaigning in the state between now and the January primary.
