DFNH Announces Appointment of Communications Director

Keith McCrea Brings over 12 Years of Experience to Role


(Concord, NH| March 1st, 2007) Democracy for New Hampshire is proud to announce the appointment of Keith McCrea of Manchester to the post of communications director. McCrea, public relations director for a Concord-based advertising firm, was named to the position by the DFNH Board of Directors at their February meeting.


"Democracy for New Hampshire has emerged as a leading organization in the political life of New Hampshire on issues like building a more progressive and tolerant society and keeping elections clean, and I'm excited to have the chance to help them tell their organization's story," McCrea said. "The work DFNH is doing is inspiring and I'm eager to work with them."


"We've all been impressed with his insightfulness, his character, and his desire to step full swing into New Hampshire grassroots democracy by becoming an engaged member of DFNH ," DFNH Board Chair Nancy Tobi said. " If we had advertised for a Communications Director, we could not have found a better fit for the organization than Keith McCrea. "


Keith McCrea has extensive communications and political experience. In addition to his current work, he was formerly a senior consultant with Cleveland-based political consulting firm Burges & Burges in his native Ohio . His previous work also includes with a number of issue campaigns, managing a statewide campaign in Ohio in 2000, and coordinating field operations and communications for a number of Democratic campaigns in Ohio and Liberal campaigns in Ontario, as well as serving as field staff for Clinton/Gore '96 and a US senate campaign in 1994.
