TIME FOR GOV. LYNCH TO STATE A POSITION ON CIVIL UNIONS

CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Chairman Fergus Cullen called on Gov. John Lynch to publicly state his position on the civil union bill scheduled to be voted on by the New Hampshire house next week.

“Governor Lynch has been conspicuously silent on the civil union bill, and he owes it to the people of New Hampshire to let us know whether he will sign or veto civil unions if the bill passes the legislature,” Cullen said.

Only three other states – Vermont, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, all known for their liberal politics – have passed civil unions.
