(PORTSMOUTH, NH)--Citing strong grassroots support, U.S. Senate candidate Steve Marchand announced raising over $100,000 in the first fundraising quarter of 2007.

Marchand has:

-Raised $100,000 in just six-weeks of full-time fundraising;
-Received the support of nearly 250 individual donors;
-Received more than half his contributions from New Hampshire donors.
-Designated over 85% of contributions for the primary election.

"We are excited by the success of our first quarter," said Campaign Coordinator David Mason. "We have met our first quarter goals and are on track to raise what we need to take our message to the voters of New Hampshire.
