Historian Harry W. Crocker III to Speak on April 26 at
TheNew Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College
Manchester,N.H. - Anita Perez Ferguson will present a lecture entitled “Women Seen and Heard in New Hampshire: How to Become a More Effective Speaker” at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College Wednesday, April 25, at 7 p.m. Cosponsored by the Women's Fund of NH, the NH Women's Lobby, and the NH Women's Policy Institute, this event is free and open to the public.
Perez Ferguson is a frequent contributor to National Public Radio on issues of demographic diversity as well as domestic and international public policy. Copies of her book, Women Seen and Heard:Lessons Learned from Successful Speakers, will be available for purchase and for signing.
On Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m., author Harry W. Crocker III will present a lecture entitled “The Top Myths of American Military History” at the Institute. Presented by the NHIOP Kevin Harrington Student Ambassadors, this event is free and open to the public.
Crocker will discuss his new book Don’t Tread on Me: A 400-Year History of America at War from Indian Fighting to Terrorist Hunting . Copies of this book will be available for purchase and signing following the event.
