MANCHESTER, NH – Supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton are preparing for a statewide Day of Action, the first held by any presidential campaign in New Hampshire, this Saturday, May 12th. The campaign has created a variety of grassroots opportunities both new and traditional, including canvassing, phone banking, blogging and letter writing.
State Senator Betsi Devries, Co-chair of Women for Hillary in New Hampshire, will help kick-off Day of Action phone banking and canvassing at the Clinton campaign headquarters in Manchester. Additional events will be held in communities across the state including Concord, Dover, Hanover, Manchester, Nashua and Keene. The New Hampshire for Hillary campaign, which has appointed Action Team leaders to help coordinate volunteer efforts, expects supporters to talk to several thousand voters on Saturday by making phone calls and knocking on their neighbors’ doors.
“All of Senator Clinton’s supporters are critical to this campaign, and everyone can be a part of it in their own way,” said Clinton State Director Nick Clemons. “Whether they join us for traditional grassroots activities like going door to door or for individualized activities like blogging on bluehampshire.com, it all makes a difference.”
Additional information about Day of Action events can be found on the New Hampshire for Hillary webpage, www.hillaryclinton.com/nh or by calling (603) 634-4455.
