Fix Our Flag Campaign

On Flag Day, June 14th, 2007, from 12-12:30pm, the Fix Our Flag campaign will kick off at Manchester’s City Hall Plaza with a Flag dedication ceremony.

The campaign is an effort to stop the use of a stand alone backward American Flag on military and first responder uniforms. Along with the Flag dedication, new and proper American Flag patches will be presented to members of the Grafton Volunteer Fire Department.

Among those attending the event will be the city’s Mayor along with representatives from the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, the Daughters of the American Revolution and many others. Invitations have also been extended to all Presidential Candidates.

The event is open to anyone who wishes to attend.
