The Week in Review
Senator and Mrs. Edwards brought their kids Emma Claire, 9, and Jack, 7, up to Lake Winnipesaukee last weekend for a 4th of July vacation. The Edwardses spent time fishing, swimming in the lake, participating in the Moultonborough Firefighters' Muster and exploring the Polar Caves in Plymouth. The Union Leader, AP, Meredith News and WMUR all documented their time together in the lakes region – although the family was happy to enjoy a few days together off the campaign trail!
On Tuesday, Mrs. Edwards returned to New Hampshire for a series of house parties in Bedford, Hopkinton and Keene. She spoke to overflowing crowds at each event and spent hours answering questions from New Hampshire voters. Some of the hosts even mentioned that they were the largest house parties they had ever thrown.
