Rep. Shea-Porter's World Tour Finally Comes to NH

CONCORD – New Hampshire Republican Chairman Fergus Cullen releases the following statement in response to Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter’s announcement that she will hold Town Hall Meetings next week:

“It’s taken Rep. Shea-Porter eight months to schedule her first town hall meeting with her constituents and she’s long overdue. On her list of priorities, meeting with her New Hampshire constituents ranked below touring Guam, China, and Alaska and attending Georgetown parties with Arianna Huffington. When first elected, one of the first things Rep. Shea-Porter did was lobby Speaker Pelosi on behalf of Louisiana. Soon after she voted for pork barrel spending for California spinach farmers. Only now is she finally turning some attention to the people of New Hampshire.”
