Congressman will talk about Hillary’s policies on energy and the environment in Plymouth, Laconia, Jaffrey and Manchester
MANCHESTER, NH – Congressman and environmental advocate Jay Inslee will discuss Hillary’s environmental and energy policies with Granite State voters this Saturday, September 22.
Congressman Inslee will make stops at the energy efficient LEED Certified Dorm at Plymouth State University, the NH Community Technical College in Laconia to learn about the Energy Services and Technology program, and at the New England Wood Pellet plant in Jaffrey. He will also a lead an environmental discussion in Manchester.
Inslee first served in Congress from 1992 to 1994, and was elected again to the House of Representatives in 1998. From his post on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Inslee has pushed for passage of the New Apollo Energy Act to promote clean and renewable energy and legislation to protect our public lands. Inslee has also fought to preserve and strengthen Social Security and Medicare.
Inslee previously served as a Regional Director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and was a member of the State House of Representatives and a local prosecutor.
Congressman Inslee endorsed Senator Clinton in June and is Co-Chair of her Energy and Environmental Task Force, as well as her Washington State Campaign.
