MANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire for Hillary campaign today announced that its Rural Development Tour will kick off tomorrow, January 3rd, when a group of New York supporters who worked with Senator Clinton on issues of rural and economic development head to the Granite State. The group will make stops in Plymouth and Claremont.
Among those hitting the campaign trail are Lee Beaulac , Senior Vice President of Housing and Economic Development for Rural Opportunities, Inc; Gary Douglass , head of the North Country Chamber of Commerce, based in Plattsburgh, NY; and Lee Telega a former dairy farmer, who helped to create and staff the Senator's Agricultural Advisory Council.
Senator Clinton has been a tireless advocate of restoring the promise of rural and small town America. She has worked to expand access to broadband and spur innovative strategies for rural economic development. Hillary has championed legislation that will help create good jobs, develop new sources of capital, and invest in education, healthcare, broadband, agriculture, biofuels and other renewable energy sources in order to grow the economies of rural America.
