MANCHESTER- Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert F. Kennedy, will be back in the Granite State on Saturday, October 25th to campaign on behalf of Sen. Barack Obama. She will campaign alongside her grandson, Matt Kennedy, who currently works as the Constituency Vote Director for the Obama campaign in Manchester and Matt's twin brother Joe who is the Outreach Director at the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau. Ethel Kennedy last visited New Hampshire to campaign on Saturday, October 4th.
Ethel Kennedy says she supports Sen. Obama because he has the same commitment to the country as her husband Robert Kennedy did. When she endorsed U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, Kennedy wrote, "Barack is so like Bobby...With courage, caring, and charisma, Senator Obama is leading us toward a kinder, gentler world."
Kennedy will meet with seniors and residents in both Hampton and Nashua to discuss Barack Obama's plan to strengthen Social Security, protect retirement savings, and eliminate income taxes for seniors making less than $50,000 a year.
The events are free and open to the public. For more information, or to RSVP, call 668-2008 or click here.
