MANCHESTER— Ethel Kennedy , the widow of Robert F. Kennedy , will visit the Granite State on Saturday, October 4th to campaign on behalf of Sen. Barack Obama. She will campaign alongside her grandson, Matt Kennedy, who currently works for the Obama campaign in Manchester.
When she endorsed U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, Kennedy wrote, “Barack is so like Bobby...With courage, caring, and charisma, Senator Obama is leading us toward a kinder, gentler world."
Kennedy will meet with seniors and residents in both Salem and Manchester and will be joined by Executive Counselor Bev Hollingsworth, Congressman Carol Shea-Porter, Sen. Lou D’Allesandro, and Betsi DeVries to discuss Barack Obama’s plan to make healthcare affordable and available to every single American.
