Congresswoman Shea-Porter: "This Thanksgiving, let us give thanks to those who have given the most."

Today, with Thanksgiving approaching, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter released the following statement in recognition of Military Family Appreciation Week.

“Every holiday season, family and friends around the country come together to give thanks for what they have received. However, many military families will be apart this Thanksgiving. We must remember those who have given so much to our country and honor their service by keeping the promises we have made to them. Our active duty military members, veterans, and their families deserve our thanks this and every Thanksgiving. They work every day to keep us safe and to protect our freedoms.”
