Greenland, NH – In a night of Democrat victories across the board, one bright spot for Republicans emerged in the stunning upset in the State House race in Greenland. Pam Tucker, first time candidate defeated Majority Whip Mike Marsh in his re-election bid. A member of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, Mike Marsh had emerged as a point person on the New Hampshire budget.
During the campaign, Marsh focused on the work he and the governor had done over the past two years. Tucker focused on the need to bring fiscal discipline to Concord.
“I’ve never seen a candidate work so hard,” stated Tom Lee, Pam Tucker’s campaign manager. “She walked to every door.” Tom continued, “Her energy and passion are contagious”.
